WHAT ARE THE TRADE UNION
COMPUTER COURSES ABOUT?

The courses on offer this term cover a range of computer uses. However, unlike most computer courses, these are focussed on trade unionists and how we can improve trade union organisation.

Nonetheless, all the major applications are covered - word processing, databasing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, and Powerpoint presentations.

For those just starting to use a computer, Introduction to Communications designed with you in mind. However, even if you are reasonably familiar with computer use, the same course can still prove productive. We work in a way that does not discriminate against those new to computing, but neither holds those back who already have some experience.

In these courses, we have give both day and evening dates as alternatives. If we do not recruit enough people to run either we will hopefully be able to offer you the alternative.
